Early this month, Allianz, Aon, Apple and Cisco announced a collaborative partnership that will provide cyber risk management solutions to businesses to manage against ransomware and malware threats through security technology, secure devices, cybersecurity expertise, and cyber insurance.
The concept, which the alliance describes as “Cyber Insurance as part of a Cyber Risk Framework” includes an initial cybersecurity assessment followed by tailored cyber insurance coverage via Allianz that is based on the completed assessment as well as the software and hardware being used by the business.
