Services that enable consumers to use electronic communication methods for real-time, two-way online medical appointments have become increasingly common. In fact, since the beginning of 2016, Competiscan has observed a 713% increase in the number of telemedicine-focused campaigns.

Given the increasing popularity, Competiscan recently conducted a survey among our consumer panelists in order to understand their awareness, usage and perceptions of telemedicine. We also asked them to rate three different direct mailers in order to gain insight into the most effective ways to market these sort of services.
